The group was founded in 1985, initially focusing on the distribution of ores and alloys. In its early years, trading was the core business, allowing the group to establish strong relationships with both suppliers and buyers in the industry. This early phase not only built an impeccable reputation but also served as a reminder to the group’s employees that its success would depend on embodying the same vision, initiative, determination, and hard work that drove the pioneers of India’s mineral and ore industry. As a result of this approach, the group went on to acquire several mines, with the most notable being a 160-acre mine in Sausar and a 30-acre mine in Boujhani.

Today, Group Shyamji boasts peak employment of 400 and operates two manufacturing plants.
